  • Experience in a first-hand manner what it means to be a global citizen;
  • Learn about and be exposed to countries and cultures and people from those cultures;
  • Participate in projects promoting social justice, empowerment, and multi-culturalism;
  • Take field trips to museums, Embassies, and other iconic locations in the Washington, DC area;
  • Create his/her own digital storybook and become a published author;
  • Develop storytelling and applied writing and reading skills;
  • Develop visual presentation, programming and app-making logic skills;
  • Visit computer, virtual reality and 3-d printing labs;
  • Build empathy, empowerment, confidence and social interaction skills;
  • Enjoy time outdoors and physical fitness activities;
  • Receive a Global Sleepover Global Citizenship badge.

After April 15, Fee Per Week is: $295/week

One week consists of Monday – Friday, starting at 9:30 am and ending at 4:30pm. Drop-off begins at 9:00am and children may be picked up until 4:45pm.

  • Children who are not picked up by 4:45pm will be put into after-care and parents will be charged accordingly.
  • Fee includes transport to field trips and snacks. Children bring their lunch but will be given snacks and drinks.
  • For campers enrolled the week of July 3, we will be closed on July 4 for the Independence Day Holiday. Rates for this time period will be pro-rated to reflect the holiday.

After Camp Care will be held from 4:30 - 6:30pm and costs $25/hour per child. Discounts available for two or more siblings. After Camp Care sign-up will begin in May.

  3. Receive one hard copy of “Musiqar: The Magical Bird,” an traditional fable from Afghanistan about a musical bird.

  5. On your child’s birthday, your child will receive a letter in the mail by a friend from a different country.
